- Keystone Community Services – Access to food shelves, emergency financial assistance, self-sufficiency workshops (housing, budgeting, nutrition, employment), Family Success Fund (help with medical, transportation, moving costs), case management for families with children in school
- Merrick Community Services – Access to organic food shelf for St. Paul/Maplewood residents, job training programs, case management for families with at least one child under age of 10
- SNAP Food Assistance Program – as of 10/1/15, income limits = single person – less than $1,619 per month; households of 4 – $3,335 per month. Benefits = 1 person – $194/month; 4 persons – $649/month; To apply (Ramsey County), call 651-266-4444 or create account and apply online
- Minnesota Food Help Line (1-888-711-1151) – Search additional food resources by location
- Twin Cities Mobile Market – A low-cost grocery store on a city bus that stops at 19 locations throughout St. Paul year-round to offer fresh produce and meats – accepts SNAP/EBT, cash, credit, and debit. Map of Stops/Schedule (Lamplighter Village, McDonough Homes, Iowa Hi-Rise, etc.)
- Fare For All – Order inexpensive family-size packages of produce and meats for $10-$30
- CAPI Asian Food Shelef – Asian-specific food shelf to meet cultural and nutritional needs
Shelters
- Family Place – provides for families in need of shelter; including a family room with phone and computer access to help with job search activities, showers, laundry facilities, and lockers for storing personal items
- Listening House – hygiene products, clothing, mail/message delivery, telephones, haircuts, foot care (including socks/shoes/boots) and essential first aide. Onsite partner professionals consist of mental and chemical health outreach teams, housing advocates, chiropractic care, medical screening and veteran’s assistance.
