KOM Suicide Prevention Video

KOM is committed to reducing and preventing mental health issues and violence in the Karen community. KOM partners with the Korean Service Center, Korean Adoptive Ministries Center, SEWA-AIFW and the University of Minnesota through the Eliminating Health Disparities Initiative. KOM provides trainings on stress management, suicide prevention, depression, parenting, and more to refugees from Burma. The goal of this program is to build healthy relationships between family members and increase the mental health of refugees.
