KOM provides translation and interpreting as a fee-for-service on a limited basis for short-term projects only. *We are not accepting interpreting requests at this time due to limited staff capacity.*

For interpreting needs for Karen, Karenni, Burmese, and other languages, we recommend that you contact one of the following agencies:

UNUHE – provides interpreting and document translation in Burmese, Karen, Karenni, and Chin (Hakachin, Zomi, Falam, and Mizo) for the education, medical, legal, social services, and business sectors.

University Language Center – provides onsite interpreting, remote video interpreting, telephone interpreting, and translation services. Languages include: Karen, Karenni/Kayah, Mon, Thai, and Burmese.

Intelligere – provides onsite interpreting, telephone interpreting, video remote interpreting and document translation services. Languages include: Karen, Karenni, Thai, and Burmese.

Kim Tong Translation Services – provides face to face, over the phone, and video remote interpreting in medical, educational, and social service settings, as well as document translation.

Minnesota Language Connection – provides video remote interpreting, phone interpreting, and face to face medical interpretation.
