The Employment & Career Supports program helps refugees who have lived in the U.S. less than 5 years find stable employment. Through this program, KOM employment counselors facilitate job placement for refugees in the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota (Marshall, Austin, Albert Lea, Worthington, etc.). KOM partners with employers such as Bailey Nurseries and BIX Produce who seek to provide good working environments for refugees. At these companies, KOM employment counselors help clients apply for jobs, interpret for orientations, and provide support to employers.
