Youth & Adult Education
- Environmental and Construction Training Program (Merrick Community Services) – 10-week training program open to adults 18+ who are working on GED and have MN Driver’s License
- Truck Driving Training Program (CAPI) – earn a CDL Class A license and begin a career as a truck driver within 4-6 weeks
- Express Bike Shop (Keystone Community Services) – youth ages 14-18 complete a paid internship and learn to repair bicycles
- Youth Build – (Guadalupe Alternative Programs) – Hel Lan Htoo – Karen Program Support; intense 1-2 year job training program for youth 16-24 who have GED or want to earn diploma; must have a birth certificate, SSN, State ID, permanent or temp I-94 cards; daily breakfast and lunch, bus card transportation assistance, counseling and social services; special education, scholarship available; resume and interview skills; participants learn a trade and are connected with unions (Construction, CNA, IT, Recycling)
