Visit from Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan to KOM

Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan made a visit to the office of the Karen Organization of Minnesota on January 23rd, 2025. There she met with KOM staff and community partners in Roseville serving refugees and immigrants in Minnesota.

Coordinated by the Minnesota Resettlement Programs Office who were also present, KOM was joined by representatives from Roseville Area Schools and Voice in the Wilderness. Our staff and partners shared with the Lieutenant Governor about current issues and trends in our communities and refreshed our knowledge of resources in state government.
