Marshall Spotlight: Expanding Services

The Marshall Office staff is building a new working relationship with Turkey Valley Farms, a major employer for Karen adults in Marshall. They will work closely with TVF to help any new Karen residents in Marshall with their social service needs. Mu Hser and Orchid Apolo, the KOM case managers in Marshall, are working with Nuno Rowland (TVF Karen connector) to enrich KOM’s coordination in serving the needs of new Karen residents in Marshall.

Additionally, the Marshall Office staff had a meeting with a staff member and the executive director of Supporting Hands – a pre-natal and post-natal service to new mothers. Their August monthly meeting for Karen community members will have one of their nurses present to the community.
