Nancy Acosta is a graduate from Metro State University with a Bachelor’s in Social Work. She has interned at non-profit organizations like GAP and The International Institute of Minnesota. Her passion is to help those who can’t or are afraid to advocate for themselves and assisting the Latino community. It’s her second year as a family mentor. Nancy’s favorite part about this work is working with students and helping them overcome educational, emotional, and mental barriers and setting them up for success. Nancy speaks English and Spanish and has 3 nephews and 1 baby niece.
