“My name is Hsa Hser Ku. I am very happy and honored to join KOM as Community Health Educator. I was born in Thailand refugee camp and came to the United States in 2008. I graduated from Washington Technology Magnet School and went to attend Bethel University. I graduated in 2018 in Healthcare and Gender Studies. Before graduating from Bethel University, I interned here at KOM in the Community Health Program and learned more about the organization. I’ve always wanted to help Karen people when it comes to understanding more of different health topics here in the US and I am honored that I now have the opportunity to help my community through KOM Community Health Program.”
