Alice Buckner, Development Director
Alice Buckner has served in non-profit, business, healthcare, government, and higher education for over 30 years. She has lived and worked in multiple parts of the U.S., most recently in Western Massachusetts, before relocating to the Twin Cities. She operated an organization development consulting and contract firm for 16 years. She holds a BA in English from Bennington College and a Master’s in Human Resources & Organization Development from the University of San Francisco. She has also worked as a consultant, leadership team member, board member, volunteer, and adjunct professor. Alice has been an innovator in areas of management effectiveness, diversity, youth services, and community & economic development.
In her free time, Alice enjoys yoga, gardening, poetry, painting, and spending time with her family. Together with her spouse, she has made several trips to Southeast Asia over the past 40 years and hosted overseas guests in their home through AirBnB and University of Massachusetts international housing.
