MS, LPCC, LADC, Wayside’s Chief Clinical Officer
Prior to joining Wayside, Nway served as Treatment Director at Amherst H. Wilder where she developed their chemical dependency treatment program. Nway received her Master’s in Community Psychology with a Chemical Dependency Certification from St. Cloud State University. She is an experienced clinician in providing counseling for co-occurring disorders as a dually licensed clinical counselor and LADC. She is approved by the MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy to provide supervision for LPCC and LADC candidates and is experienced in intensive outpatient SUD treatment. Her expertise include working with refugees, immigrants populations along with utilizing interpreters. In 2019 she was the recipient of the Kingston Fellowship award to develop a culturally specific tool kit addressing the unique needs of the Southeast Asian population. She has provided training for mental and chemical health providers on historical and cultural considerations in working with Southeast Asian populations in several settings including at the MARRCH annual conference.
