Liz was born in the United States to two parents who left Burma in the late 1960s for Thailand, and eventually immigrated to Ohio. Liz has a master’s degree in education with a focus on international education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a JD from University of Virginia School of Law. Liz has fond memories from childhood attending events with the small immigrant community from Burma in Ohio. She has a passion to help individuals who arrive in the United States as part of the immigrant or refugee communities, and hopes that her personal experiences and career experiences will contribute to KOM’s mission.
