We are excited to announce our 3rd Annual KOM Awards!
Service:
Has given their time and talent to the mission of KOM.
Culture Bearer:
Through their example has served as role model for cultural expression, strengthening preservation of their heritage in Minnesota in harmony with KOM’s mission.
Equity Champion:
Advanced KOM’s mission to remove barriers for refugees and immigrants by calling attention to disparities and recommending changes.
In this form we ask for examples of why this person (or organization) has shown impact on KOM’s mission, which is: To build on the strengths of refugee and immigrant communities and remove barriers to achieving economic, social, and cultural wellbeing.
Please note: We seek nominations for people not currently employed by KOM or serving on our board. This is a chance to celebrate the people and organizations who partner with us, making so much of our impact possible.
Submit a nomination(s) by December 4th. Voting will then be conducted by the staff and board. You may nominate an individual or organization. There is no limit on number of nominations you can submit. Your nomination is anonymous. Thank you for your participation in our nomination process!
