Individual Training and Career Counseling (WIOA)

Individual Training and Career Counseling (WIOA) helps Ramsey County residents find employment by offering personalized job search assistance, training opportunities, and support services. 

Program Highlights

• Explore careers that fit your skills and interests
• Create a resume tailored to your goals
• Practice your interview skills
• Complete short-term job training
• Apply for jobs and connect with employers
• Access resources to minimize barriers, like food assistance, gas cards, and other supports

Eligibility

1. Age 18+
2. Authorized to work in the US
3. Resident of Minnesota and Ramsey County
4. Seeking full-time employment
5. If male, in compliance with selective service registration
6. AND one or more of the following
   1. low income (200% or less of FPG)
   2. Receiving public assistance
   3. Basic skills deficient (includes ELL)
   4. Have a disability
   5. People of color or indigenous
   6. Older individuals (55+)
   7. Justice impacted (criminal record)
   8. Single parents (including pregnant women)
