Hamed Khan Zadran, raised in Kabul, Afghanistan, immigrated to Minnesota in 2023. He brings a wealth of professional experience and expertise to his role as a Family Assister at the Karen Organization of Minnesota.
With a diverse background in contract management, case management, audit, and team leadership, Hamed has honed his skills through extensive work in governmental organizations and international projects, including collaborations with the World Bank in Afghanistan. His proficiency in contract management, administration, and planning is underpinned by academic achievements, holding a master’s in management from Kardan University Afghanistan and a bachelor’s in economics from Pune University India.
Fluent in English, Pashto, Dari, Urdu, and Hindi, Hamed excels in multilingual environments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration. His multicultural competence enhances his ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering inclusive and supportive environments. In March 2024, Hamed embraced the opportunity to join the Karen Organization of Minnesota as a Family Assister. This role has brought him immense happiness and fulfillment, as he is grateful for the chance to positively impact the lives of displaced individuals and those in need of assistance.
