
Info Session: CDL Training for Highway Construction

Do you want to earn your class A CDL and prepare for work in construction? KOM’s Highway Construction CDL Program is for you!
Come to KOM for one of our information sessions to learn more about the classes and how you can enroll.
There are four sessions to choose from:
- 9:00am – 11:00am, Monday, September 22nd
- 9:00am – 11:00am, Wednesday, September 24th
- 9:00am – 11:00am, Monday, September 29th
- 9:00am – 11:00am, Wednesday, October 1st

At the info session, you’ll learn about the class schedule and how to enroll in the program. Classes begin in October 2025 and continue through March 2026. They take place in-person in Roseville. You will also go off site to job shadow and do behind-the-wheel training.
This training is funded by a grant from MN Department of Transportation.
To qualify for the program, you must meet all of the following:
- Be age 18 or older and not currently enrolled in high school
- Have high school diploma/GED
- Be a Minnesota resident
- Have U.S. work authorization
- Be able to attend all class sessions
- Be able to communicate proficiently in English
- Identify as immigrant, refugee, or person of color
- Have a valid MN driver’s license and verify driving record will not limit your ability to get a CDL and become employed
