SUMMARY:76th Commemoration of Karen Martyrs' Day
DESCRIPTION:This year’s Karen Martyrs’ Day ceremony will be held on Saturday\, August 15th 2026 from 9:30am – 4:00pm at Ebenezer Karen Baptist Church in Maplewood\, MN. This year’s event marks the 76th commemoration and will include the main ceremony honoring martyrs followed by a community lunch and song performances. \nFlyer for the 2026 Karen Martyrs’ Day Commemoration in Minnesota\, created by the event organizers\, K.C.M. Karen Community of Minnesota.\nAll are welcome to honor the history of this day which commemorates the anniversary of the death of Saw Ba U Gyi (one of the early leaders of the Karen National Union) in 1950.
