DESCRIPTION:KOM and The East Side Freedom Library invite you to “2017 Karen Women’s Weaving Project: A Closing Celebration” on Wednesday\, November 29 @ 6:00PM–9:00PM. \nJoin us for the closing celebration of the 2017 Karen women’s weaving project\, in honor of our late Weaving Coordinator\, Paw Boh Htoo. \nThe weavers will demonstrate their techniques and there will be beautiful cloth items to buy — perfect for holiday presents! \nYouth who participated in classes taught by the women weavers over the summer will also be there to present their projects and completed pieces. \nAt 7pm\, we will gather for a presentation in honor of Paw Htoo. \nThere will be refreshments\, stories\, and art. \nFree and Open to All.
